The Small Beauty Business Workshop
Salon Owner / Self Employed Nail and Beauty – we made the mistakes so you don’t have to
One small piece of information or advice from this course could save you the cost of the course and much much more. Before becoming a salon owner in 1998, I worked as a self-employed mobile nail tech for a number of years. Before this, I started out as a Saturday girl at the age of twelve.
Now, thirty(ish) years later and with the all of this experience in the beauty industry behind me, I would love to share this with you. I have experienced the highs and the lows, the good times and the bad. I’ve done many things right and unfortunately made many mistakes. I’m still here, loving what I do.
The Small Beauty Business Workshop will cover everything you need to know about starting up and keeping going, marketing your business, trade suppliers, what to do and where to go get it, what not to do and how best to avoid it, the pitfalls and the pleasures of being self employed and much much more.
The workshop is run as an open forum half day course, we are all free to talk, ask questions, exchange information and hopefully leave with a book full of notes and a positive outlook. Your host will lead the discussions and show you the way to pick up your business and take it forward, make you a good living and help you to tailor your work life balance.
Courses will run on a monthly basis. The dates and venues of our upcoming courses will be listed below as they become available.
